This service includes contact details to hire a translator for interpreting services ("Service").

The Service within the meaning of these General Terms and Conditions constitutes an information society service under the Electronic Commerce Act (ECA) concerning Directive 2000/31/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 8 June 2000 regarding certain legal aspects of information society services, particularly electronic commerce within the internal market (E-Commerce Directive).

To ensure equal access to the Service, the Provider offers voice assistance technology. Additionally, the Provider provides a search capability based on predetermined criteria set as algorithmic functionalities on the Website. Each translator is guaranteed to have information about the languages they are proficient in, their address, phone number, email, and the company under which they perform their translation services. Optional information may include, but is not limited to, a photo, logo, trademark, etc. The Provider provides methods for translators to update their profiles.

The Service is provided free to users and for a fee to translators. Additionally, users and translators who accept these General Terms agree not to obstruct others from using the Website by any means.

The Provider may temporarily limit or suspend access to the Website for maintenance, updates, fixing technical issues, etc. If the Website remains inaccessible for more than 24 hours, the Provider must indicate the estimated time for issue resolution on the Website.

The Provider does not participate in any way in the payment process between translators and users who used the Website.

The use of personal data, both for registering translators on the Website and for the information users provide, is subject to the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Bulgarian Data Protection Act, and other applicable regulations in this field. The Data Protection Policy can be found [here].

The Provider states in these General Terms that the Website will not send commercial messages under the ECA and assumes no responsibility for any such messages provided to the user by the translator outside the Website. Additionally, the Provider explicitly declares that it does not participate in any connection between users and translators made via Skype, Viber, or any similar communication application when such contact is made in connection with the Service. The Provider does not engage with the quality of such communications outside the Website.

These General Terms govern the relationships between the Provider, translators, and users concerning the use of the Website. Translator registration on the Website is subject to a fee, payable to the bank account indicated in the system. Any individual aged 16 or older may use the Website as a user, and it is deemed that the user confirms this age and agrees not to use the Website for commercial purposes upon accepting these General Terms.

The data provided during translator registration is unique, and it is impossible to create another account with the same data. Registered translators can update their profile at any time, and the system will indicate if duplicate data already exists, preventing such updates based on the requirement for account uniqueness.

If access data is forgotten, the Provider guarantees the ability to recover access through the registered email and phone number.

Translators are referred to the General Terms and Data Protection Rules during registration, and acceptance of both documents is required to establish a contract between the Provider and the translator. If the translator does not confirm acceptance via the Website, no contract will be concluded.

The Provider makes the General Terms continuously available on the Website but does not send them via email to users or translators upon registration or subsequent changes. Users and translators are encouraged to periodically review them.

The system provides a mechanism for verifying whether entered email addresses meet standard formatting requirements. The Provider is not liable if users or translators provide valid but incorrect emails.

The contract between the Provider and the translator lasts as long as the translator's account exists. Account closure is requested by emailing admin@inter-dc.com. The contract is considered terminated once the Provider confirms the account's removal. The Provider reserves the right to remove an account if the translator obstructs others, fails to pay the registration fee within 14 days, or violates any applicable translation standards.

If complaints are consistently made against the same translator on similar grounds, the Provider will investigate and may remove the account after sending a notice and providing 30 days for an explanation. Exceptions to the 30-day notice period include legal or regulatory obligations requiring immediate termination of services or repeated violations of the General Terms.

If a translator can demonstrate a valid reason for their actions, the Provider must reinstate the account and notify the translator.

Contracts are stored for one year after termination. Translators may request access to their contract details by contacting the Provider at admin@inter-dc.com.

The contract may be concluded in Bulgarian, Russian, English, German, or French.

The Provider adheres to the Code of Ethics for Software Engineering available [here].

The Provider assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the data provided by translators on the Website and does not verify its accuracy. Translators and users must provide up-to-date information when registering.

The Provider does not cache information entered by users or translators and does not provide document exchange services through the Website.

The law of the Republic of Bulgaria governs all disputes, except for intellectual property disputes, which are excluded from this rule.

In accordance with Art. 22d of the ECA and Art. 12 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, two mediators are appointed for resolving disputes out of court:

- Yoana Ivanova, Registration No. 20240416010

- Yoana Mazdrashka, Registration No. 20230418030

The Provider is obligated to store and provide information to competent authorities for six months after contract termination.

Any invalid provisions of these General Terms do not affect the validity of the remaining terms or the contracts concluded between the Provider and translators. The Provider guarantees to notify translators of any changes via email at least one month before they take effect, except in cases where the translator waives this notice period.

These General Terms take effect on 30.09.2024.
