Hello! I'm Annabelle Peretti, a French native conference interpreter and professional translator based in beautiful Sardinia, Italy.

Originally from northern France, I've been working as a freelance language professional since 2015, mainly between French, Italian and English. Living between two cultures has shaped not only my career but also the way I connect with people.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in a wide range of settings, from international conferences and European cooperation projects to business meetings, technical site visits, institutional events and cultural exchanges. I provide simultaneous, consecutive, liaison and whispered interpreting, both onsite and remotely.

I'm also the co-founder of InterpretHer, a professional interpreting duo I created with my Italian colleague Virginia Pili.

What I love most about my job is that no two assignments are ever the same. I'm naturally curious, I enjoy discovering new subjects and meeting people from different backgrounds, and I genuinely believe that interpreting is about much more than translating words.

For me, being a good interpreter means being thoroughly prepared, listening carefully, adapting quickly and, above all, helping people truly understand one another.

I take my work seriously, but I also believe that a friendly attitude, empathy and a little sense of humour can make all the difference!
