Interpreters Direct Contact (IDC) is the result of over 30 years of professional experience in the field of translation services.
Interpreters Direct Contact was created because of the difficulty that is constantly experienced when searching for a suitable interpreter, specifically for live interpreting that is available at the time or day and the place you specify.
In order to save your time in the tedious search for a freelance interpreter (translator for spoken language), we have decided to join forces and create a site that is useful to both, those in need of interpreting and the interpreters.
As a result we are pleased to provide you now with the opportunity to quickly and easily make direct contact with highly qualified interpreters who are not only available at any moment, but also in the desired location around the world on a day of your choosing.
We give you the opportunity of Free search and direct contact with an interpreter – no intermediary and no additional intermediary fee. The search allows you to choose an interpreter according to:

- distance from the searcher
- location (city)

FOR USERS
For the user, searching for an interpreter in the IDC database is FREE.
Registration is not required.
Browser localization must be able to use remote search feature. When searching by city, this is not necessary.
FOR INTERPRETERS
Information for interpreters:
IMPORTANT: There is an annual fee to register as an interpreter and to appear in site search database. It is only 7,49 euro per month, (89,90 euro per year tax not included), has to be paid for one year, and you get 1 month free!
When you are in a situation to accept a new order and to speak to a potential customer, your profile will be marked green = available
To determine your current location, it is essential to add your address. The user only sees the approximate distance of the interpreter: ….The exact location is not given. When you do not want to specify your current location, the search works with the data you have given at registration.
In order to contact you directly, the user sees your mobile phone number and optionally your email. The interpreter is responsible for the information provided in the interpreter`s profile. IDC reserves the right to request the presentation of certificates specifying the qualifications of the interpreter or translator.
